Some examples of careers that can be followed with a major in Family and Consumer Sciences are: Education and Training – careers in planning, managing and providing education and training services, and related learning support services. (Education, Social Services, Human Services, Health Occupations, Family Studies, etc.)
Hospitality and Tourism – careers in management, marketing and operations of restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events and travel related services. (Chef, Baker, Banquet Services, Business Owner, Food Services Manager, Cookbook Author, Nutritionist, Dietician, Caterer, etc.)
